Information Regarding Fees

A non-refundable registration fee of £60.00 is required when booking a place in the nursery.

To help us to maintain our high standards and meet our overheads there will be an annual increment to the fees

Information about fees

The nursery is open all year around apart from Christmas, Easter Holidays and the other recognised Bank Holidays. If your child attends on one of these days, an alternative day should be requested and taken, in the month of the bank holiday, if an agreed space is available. Any holiday not taken this way cannot generally be carried forward to another month.

We can claim on your behalf, grants for all funded places from Essex County Council. Families are able to benefit from the Free Entitlement, which is available to coincide with school terms, for 38 weeks of the year, and is offered to all children from the term after their third birthday. Should there be a change to the booking during any month, then that month will be billed on a monthly attendance basis.

There is a £60 non-refundable registration fee. Once the booking is confirmed, a deposit of one months fee may be held on file, and credited to the last attended months invoice. Fees remain payable once booked; this includes a minimum one months charge for changes to the booking after acceptance and before attendance starts.

There is a discount of 5% that is given to the older child, when a younger sibling attends as well. When multiple children attend the discount is given to one, nominated child.

One month written notice is required to advise us that your child will be leaving the nursery. We also require one month written notice to change the pattern of attendance. Any change must be for a minimum of one month, at the Manager's discretion. The minimum attendance is two sessions (two pms, ams or one whole day).

All fees for children under three years old are calculated on an annual basis, and rounded to the nearest £1.00. They are payable monthly in advance, including the first month of attendance, and are due on the 1st of the month. All fees remain payable in the event of non- attendance due to holidays or sickness.

A 10% surcharge will be added to all outstanding fees if full payment is not received by the 1 st of the month . If you pay by cheque, please submit it by the 27th of the month to allow for it to clear. Continual late or non-payment could result in the loss of your child's place.

Any extra sessions of activities (e.g. Jo jingle or French Lesson, Cookery) will be represented separately on your invoice and charged for separately. Once these are booked they remain payable until you give notice; a notice period of one month is needed to rescind the booking.

If you have problems in collecting your child due to an emergency, please let us know immediately or as soon as is possible. Repeated late collections will be charged for.

Once the place is confirmed, fees remain payable regardless of any reason of extreme weather, loss of heating, or lighting, or other force majeure that causes unforeseen closure.
